Ford GT LM MKII

They say don’t meet your heroes – but f*ck that.
If you’re hero happens to be a:

– 1-of-45
– Track-only
– 700 HP
– Limited Edition
– $1.5MM
– Absolute Unit

…from one of the most storied automotive manufacturers in the world, you’re damn right you should get to know it. And that’s just what we recently had the opportunity to do.

The GT MKII laughs in the face of nearly all other factory-spec’d racers, thanks to its pedigree. Not only does the car use multiple endurance race-proven components from the 2016 Le Mans-winning campaign – it sets fire to the rule book, allowing for enhanced power output and aerodynamics.

It produces 400% more downforce than the roadgoing GT, and pulls a face-melting 2.0g of lateral acceleration. Those numbers aren’t speculative – they’re straight from Ford

“Topping” it all off is that take-no-prisoners (but plenty of bugs) roof scoop.
